This shop interior showcases both the exquisite Japanese craftsmanship that Tabio prides itself on, and the excellent service it provides to its valued guests. The neutral colors used throughout the interior create a pleasant, natural atmosphere from which a wide range of sock materials, colors, and shapes emerge. Socks are made by knitting rows of yarn together in innumerable rows, with the line of yarn continuing in layers that recede further and further away. This strong visual impression of the manufacturing process inspired the emblematic sculpture that hangs from the shop’s ceiling.
